The huge benefit to a retractable leash is that it does not drag in the water while you are riding, but still lets you get some distance from your board when you crash.
Both these versions have an aluminum outer case. The Heavy Duty version uses a PCTG polyester internal reel. The Extra Heavy Duty version has a machined aluminum internal reel for super strength.
These Heavy Duty versions were released July 2025.
