The 55 High Mount Propulsion is a surf-forward upgrade for riders chasing faster lift-offs and uninterrupted lines. Part of the Lift Connect System (LCS), it clicks into any LIFTX board and runs our 55mm propulsion, featuring a fully integrated nose cone and higher motor placement on the mast for quicker lift and zero drag once on foil.
The motor sits fully submerged during takeoff and disappears once you’re on foil. This setup means earlier ups, no ventilation, and a clean ride. Just pure glide, and total control underfoot.
Like every Lift propulsion, it runs our direct-drive motor with Quiet Ride Technology. No gears, no noise just smooth, near-silent power.

A refined folding prop system, smaller motor (55mm diameter), and integrated nose cone minimize drag for a smoother, more natural foiling experience.
The new Lift Connect System (LCS) allows the user to easily connect the components. Between the board and the propulsion there is no longer a base plate and hardware sticking out of the of the bottom of the board, it is totally flat.
Lift has also molded the motor into the mast instead of having a motor pod. This means that there is NO pod on the front side of the mast which is huge for reducing drag.

Enjoy the battery life of LIFT5 combined with the surf capability of the LIFTX.
This is the standard mast for LiftX, but it ALSO fits on your LIFT5 4'4, 4'9 or 5'4. For surfing and unpowered gliding, this is the way. This LiftX mast has a smaller diameter motor (55mm) than the 68mm LIFT5 motor. The barely noticeable drag of the decreased diameter gives effortless transition between power on and power off riding.
