The Custom obligates you to ride a good size bigger to make up for the efficiency loss (two sizes if you ride boots). Dont be scared by that, youll get so much in return. A bigger board lands so much better. And it finally allows you to ride with a good stance to boardlength ratio.
With the bigger size your lowend is just a good as your average twintip.

Yes, I feel some of the better twintips offer a slightly higher performance in pop compared to these wakestyle boards. But you will lose out greatly on comfort and sensation of freedom.
