Michael Percy - Founder

Michael created XLKites in 1999 and has been training students and instructors since then.  Michael has a vast background in outdoor recreation to include scuba, skiing, snowboarding, paragliding, hang gliding and flying many aircraft from small ultralights to Citation jets.  He has over 25 years of kiteboarding experience and is a master instructor, one of the very first kiteboarding instructors.  Michael and two of his instructors graduated from the first kiteboarding instructor certification course held in the United States.  Besides being a Master Instructor for kiteboarding, Michael is also a master instructor for efoiling, powered paragliding, an FAA Certified Flight Instructor and Designated Pilot Examiner.   His years of experience teaching a wide range of topics means Michael can teach anyone.

Jeff lives in Navarre Florida. He is a retired veteran with an awesome personality and a love for kiteboarding, efoiling, and winging. He is always helpful, ready to get out and have adventures and share life's joys with others.
