Attach Reel Leash to Kiteboarding Harness

Attaching a retractable leash to your harness is easy to do.   

First, loosen the three screws that attach the strap and pad to the reel leash case:

Open up the nylon webbing strap so you can hook it through your harness.  

If your webbing strap does not open up, it is because the screw holes are melted together. Slide a knife between the layers of webbing to slice through the melted area:

Open up the webbing strap and slide it through your harness handle.

Line up the screw holes and reinstall the reel leash to the pad. Apply a drop of thread locker on each screw.
